Travis
Travis finally made it to Butte (I think), after much ado about drive shafts...I took Travis and his friend Ben down to the Trailways Bus in Great Falls. Travis had to downsize a bit, but I will visit him soon and bring him his comforts of home! Travis has yet to call home, however, so either he is having so much fun his first day of classes...or he can't find the calling card I gave him...or both! I'll update once I hear from him!!
The First Day of School!!!
Today is the first day of school. I drove the boys to the bus stop, and Matthew joined us in his Peterbilt! He and I put the boys on the bus. Then, I met the bus at school and made sure that all was well before I went to work. Kenzie is so cute...he picked up the lid to his desk and exclaimed, "Hey, my desk is empty!" I'm sure that they will have a lot to talk about tonight when they get home!

Travis, Bradford And Kenzie, Oh MY!
I finally got all of Travis's ducks in a row for him for college. He is attending Montana Tech at the University of Montana, Butte this fall. Today I secured his dorm and food (the most important to him, I think!) and his financial aid package should be complete by Friday. Nothing like the last minute! He starts classes on Wednesday.
Kenzie and Bradford start school on Wednesday as well. It will be Kenzie's first day of kindergarten and Bradford's first day of first grade. It will be very exciting for both, I'm sure!

Tiffany Transfers...the saga continues
Hi all,
I checked with my DC contact at Human Resources today. He finally was able to tell me what the hold up is with my transfer to Sweetgrass....funding! Oh the woes of CBP!
Anyway, I've been approved for the transfer and am now awaiting my EOD (enter on duty) date, and the related funding codes.
I love working for the government!

July Festivities
Hello Family and Friends!
The week of the 4th was wonderful. Matthew and I took Bradford and McKenzie camping at Sanford Park, near the Tiber Dam and Lake Elwell. We parked our camper near others and had a small village of friends, kids, good cooking, good company and fun! We floated down the river en masse three times. McKenzie took Matthew's paddle hostage the second time and we hit the bank in some fast water and capsized. Kenzie and Brad were fine ( just a bit frightened), and we were all just wet! After that learning experience, the third float was uneventful...but still fun! Bradford and Kenzie discovered later, the day of the capsize, that "life jackets make you float!". I guess taking them to the lake FIRST and letting them swim in a life jacket would have been prudent....We spent the afternoon of the 4th at Lake Elwell sunning and swimming. Our friends Dan and Lori took Bradford tubing! Kenzie preferred to body-surf in his life jacket.(since he discovered it made you float!) Christy and Ian and friends came down to Bar B Q with us Thursday, and Christy and her friend Heidi floated the river with us on Friday. What a great week! Hope your 4th was wonderful too!
